My GE panel is blank and freezer side is thawing food?

My GE fridge side by side display panel is blank and making a clicking sound. Freezer now seems to be getting warmer and thawing food ? Help...

Options

A clicking/tic tock noise can be heard when the defrost timer switches on and off. A click can be heard when the temperature control unit turns the unit on and off.

This sounds like the main control board may have failed. I would first undo then reconnect al the plugs in case you have a bad contact.

After checking and trying to reset noticing fan not working and no sound from motor when plugged in ! Is it worth getting it checked or new fridge ? Approx 8-10 years old
