home button separated from LCD

followed the instructions to lift up the lcd to expose the battery but the battery did not get exposed instead the LCD separated from the home button and the metal cover laying on top of the battery. so the question: how to expose the battery without doing damage to the phone

Hi Olivier,

It sounds like the frame that secures the LCD display to the phone has become unglued. Unfortunately you may need a new LCD screen on top of your battery problems.

When trying to access the battery make sure you are using a suction cup or the iOpener to lift the screen, then use an opening tool to slide under the frame and lift it with the LCD in one piece.
