Hello everyone, I have a iMac and I want to upgrade ram for it. I have some questions so I hope I can find the answers here.
Does iMac 27 use the same kind of ram with iMac 21.5? Because I can easily find a kit ram to upgrade for iMac 27 but nothing for Imac 21.5.

First keep in mind opening your system will void your AppleCare warranty. Apple is being more aggressive on withholding warranty repairs if the system appears to have been opened.
So make sure you use the correct tools and don't leave any tool markings. Opening the newer 'Thin Series' are a bear! If you don't use the correct tools and technique in opening your system you can damage the display assemble which would be a very expensive Opps!

Here's the kit: iMac Intel 21.5" Mid 2017 Memory Maxxer RAM Upgrade Kit. There kit will push your system to the max of 32 GB! If you don't need that much you'll need DDR4 PC4-19200 2400 MHz SO-DIMM's
