Apple ID and password question

I have an iPad Air 16GB WiFi.

After restore and update on iTunes my iPad is asking to bring nearby to a iOS 11 iPhone or iPad to unlock automatically.

Than what I can do to unlock my iPad answer me please?

Apple allows you to use Hand-Off to enable nearby devices that are linked to the same Apple ID to unlock each other so you don't need to activate each device.

As an example my iPhone 7 or iPad Air2 can unlock my Apple watch when I get up in the morning. Using the keypad on my iPhone/iPad to unlock it. When I get to work my iMac is setup so my Apple watch will unlock it when I'm near it.
