I take it you mean something like a pentax k1000? A true blue SLR camera? It's been a while... But traditionally I used a soft brush with the air puffer on to get dust out of interior parts, and lint free cloths for lens etc. You can take parts out of the quality slr's like pentax- mine used pretty small philips head screws. I love the beauty of springs and winders instead of cables and motherboards! I'm sure a bit of googling whichever camera you've got should bring up a camera manual. There should be something about diy on practical photography website or similar. Good luck!

Wow a real camera...:-) like pollytintop said there are plenty of websites like this http://photo.net/learn/cleaning-cameras that tell you the basics. Of course if you are looking for something specific google it by your make model number. Good Luck...

Thanks for finding a good link youngturkey.... Was sort of going to do it eventually but fixed a phone instead! Oops

Paying a friend back.... Least you can do sometimes. Love fixing stuff but... Going to launch this ds and the shoulder buttons very, very soon! If my sons break another ds I will sell it and buy another phone to fix!!

If you fix another phone you can get rid off it on eBay and get another DS for your sons :-) If you are like me you have one to many projects and not enough time :) working on a couple of Archos Wifi players right now for my daughter....
