Grey horizontal lines going through screen

I recently dropped my iPhone 6, the edge of the phone is shattered but not many cracks going through the screen otherwise, I know that I have to get the glass fixed seeing as the glass is practically popped out almost. I can actually see glowing from underneath my screen if I tilt my phone to the side. The next day after I dropped it I got grey horizontal stripes going through my screen and occasionally my screen will go black for a second and go to the home screen then it's okay to use for a couple hours and it will do it againt. The stripe haven't gone away, but my question is, will fixing the screen fix this problem or is this a permanent thing? Or if it isn't can I still use my phone until I get the screen fixed or will it get worse?

The only way to know for certain is to open the unit and re-seat the cables.

Instructions to remove are here.

If you do decide to open it yourself, be sure you notate the screws in their proper place and make sure you disconnect the battery after getting the screen open.

There could be a chance that a screw may have gotten loose after the impact, which can create an issue with the metal plates.

If you complete this and the screen still does the same thing then the screen is damaged. This is the best way to verify it.

If you're unable to do this, just ask a tech to assist in reinstalling the screen. It should take about 30-45 mins.

Hope this helps.
