Machine filled with water
I washed 5 loads yesterday - put in the 6th load - washer filled with water than shut it self off - any suggestions

First unplug it for five minutes to allow it to reset. This sounds like a lid switch problem. Did you get any error codes after the reset?

I do not get any error codes whatsoever - I turn it on and 4 minutes later it is off
what did it do when you reset it? Did you try advancing the cycle?
How would I advance the cycle
I'm can't look at it, does it have a knob?
yes it does it has a knob for the cycles of which there are 7, a knob for water temp and a knob for water level

Like Mayer suggests, turn the knob to advance the cycle forward (sense->fill-> wash ->spin-> drain....) ...to see if anything happens....
