Why does my screen look like this?

-I did have a protective glass on the screen, I thought maybe there was liquid under it, but removal of the protective lens proved wrong.

-There were minor screen lines and a few pixels near the top but never this bad.

What's going on?

Most of what you see on the screen actually disappeared after a couple of days.
