doesnt turn on at all

IPhone only turns on when plugged into charger, however all it does is turn onto the apple logo then back off, it repeats this until i pull the charger out. Doesnt work on pc so i cant restore it, it is currently in recovery mode and i dont know how it got into this mode. So i cant access my phone or use it on itunes

Options

You can use 3utools for windows to exit out of recovery mode.

It's most likely the battery that has gone bad.
