Sudden 'No battery available'

My Macbook Pro Retina 13" bought in July 2015 suddenly shows 'no battery available' even though it was working absolutely fine just the day before.

Its just a two year old machine...Is it possible for the battery to die overnight???

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

It could be the case of a dead battery but usually the batteries dont die from a day to another.

Try and do an SMC reset first of all, if that does not work try to disconnect and reconnect the battery here you have a guide on how to do it (follow from start to Step 6).

If this does not work you can buy a battery from iFixit and replace the old one
