Automatically power-on when directly plug MegaSafe

My MBA was spilled by water and it can't power-on. So I sent it to computer shop to fix it. After I get it back. I can power-on and use it normal but with situation below.

My current situation,

1. MBA can be powered-on without using power button, without battery (battery is disconnected), just plugged MegaSafe connector then it power-on immediately.

2. I tried to plug battery connector back I found that MBA keeps power-on / off (but not actually power-on) repeatedly until it runs out of battery so it stops.

So I would like some suggestions what need to be fixed for this issue to get back to normal. Appreciate thank for any comments and helps.

Sounds like you still have a keyboard issue from the spill. Did they replace it?

As far as the symptom of the system starting up with the battery disconnected when you plug in the MagSafe that is the expected reaction.

Hi Dan thanks for reply. My keyboard was replaced already. What I should inspect next. as I got info. from computer shop they said that they shorten something for by pass power-on button function but I don't understand for they did.

Thats odd... If they replaced the keyboard then the power switch is replaced with it.

Did you have liquid damage on the logic board? If that needed to patch it then they failed to do it correctly or there is a damaged component they didn't replace.

Yes as I mentioned my MBA have water damage. If I have time I will disassemble MBA and take a picture of logic board for you to see what has been changed on logic board.
