My laptop has been damaged due to water
My Hp pavilion 15-au123cl laptop has been damaged by water and it doesn't turn back on is there any way to repair it?

Just FYI, previously i tried recommending rice fix, but no now, after those mates corrected my mistakes
Liquid (Energy drink) spilled over on the right side of keyboard

Tear the laptop down clean every connection with a soft toothbrush. As well clean the motherboard; use a 99% isopropyl alcohol for all cleaning. If the screen got wet remove it and place the entire screen in a desiccant or silica gel leave it in for several days moving it from time to time to get the max effect from the desiccant. Now is the time to start drying out the laptop. Use a blow dryer on a low heat setting to dry the rest of the laptop. Only use a hair dryer once you have cleaned the laptop motherboard completely with the alcohol. Do not attempt to dry the laptop if it’s still wet with water with the blow dryer as this only spreads the water. Replace the battery with a new one considers the old ones done. Clean again with isopropyl alcohol let dry and when you think everything is clean and dry reassemble). Once you've reassembled the laptop it’s time to power it on.If you have no joy check for burn spots on the board or popped capacitors . Replace any burnt capacitors reassemble and start it up .Hold your breath and hope for the best

Well depending on how long ago this happened, you can put it in a bag of rice. The rice will absorb the water. Your laptop should work after a few days in the rice.

Just how much rice does it take to absorb 1/4 cup of water without bring it to a boil?
cook the rice, fix the computer ... these are two completely unrelated separate things . TV myth
