Mini always hot on top

My Mini (Late 2012 - 2.3 I7/Dual 1TB server version) is constantly hot. I have had graphics issues when it gets hot but it will also get very slow. Any suggestions on what could be the issue?

Answer this question I have this problem too

I think you'll need to do a bit more diagnosing here.

How about running this app: TG Pro it will allow you to see what the built-in thermal sensors temps are as well as tell you if the systems fan cooling effectively or not. Take a full screenshot of the main display so we can see what it shows. Paste it into a fresh answer.

Thanks for the pointer. About what should the temperature be?

Not that easy an answer...

If you are not running anything then their maybe an issue if it's running hot. If you've running something which is CPU intensive then it might make total sense why its hot.

If you get the full version it will give you more info. Just let it run a bit and take a snapshot of the screen and paste it here for us to see.

Right now running at about 180F and 1800rpm. I have Apple Remote Desktop, Chrome and Mail open but usually have a few Adobe apps and Microsoft Office apps open. Top cover is only slightly warm it is usually a lot hotter. I will update more as I have more information.
