Does my phone need an LCD replacement

I have an LG X Power phone. During a fall I had, my phone harshly hit the phone on its left bottom corner. While at first it only had a cracked screen, the color on the phone faded a bit and minutes later the part of the left screen went black with red and green stripes running by the line.

My phone is unusable now as it opens apps at random unless it is shut off.

My mom's friend offered to fix the phone so long as I give them the parts. I was wondering if I need to fix the digitizer and lcd screen, (i'm not completely sure I know what that means)

I found this http://www.ebay.com/itm/LG-X-Power-X3-K2... on ebay and was wondering if this will fix my issue. I don't have money to spare so I'm hoping this will be all I need.

Gissele Corona going by your description alone "color on the phone faded a bit and minutes later the part of the left screen went black with red and green stripes running by the line." it does sound like a broken LCD. So a replacement will fix this. You can always post some images of what your screen displays with your question. Use this guide for that. It will allow us to see what you see. The part you linked to should fit and yes that is all you will need to replace. Always make sure that the version of the replacement part matches your phone.
