Touch Screen Not Working When Using Touch ID to Open iPhone

Title basically says it all. I changed my 6s plus screen to an aftermarket one from ebay. Everything works fine, but when I try to open the phone using Touch ID the touch on the screen stops working. The home button and the turn-off button also stops working. After 20s or so the screen goes to sleep and I can turn it on again. If I touch anywhere on the screen before using Touch ID to open the phone, the touchscreen works. Using a code to open works also. But If I open it using Touch ID only the screen won't work. Strange?

I tried resetting itvia Itunes, it works the first try. Then it goes back to that strange behaviour the second time.

I've repaired many phones but never had one with this issue. Had one similar to this before and resetting via Itunes helped.

I've tried ressetting the whole phone, the network part etc. Cleaning the flex cables with isopropyl, re-attaching the touch ID button etc. One thing worth mentioning is that this issue did not exist using the original lcd. But I've never had a problem using aftermarket ones with other phones, why is this one so special?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Hi,

Cheap copy screens can cause many issues, I would suggest purchasing another screen, preferably higher quality, this will more than likely solve your issue. :-)
