Why can the devise only turn on when using its old battery?

I have a Iphone 6. Its battery life is bad. I have replaced it, but when I tried to charge it, it didn't charge. I have bought 3 IPhone 6 batteries, but it still won't charge. When I get back to my old and bad battery, then the phone is charging. I am open for suggestions.

What do you have it hooked up to, a PC or Mac. Different diagnostic tools are available for the platforms than can help get you an answer.

You may have bought poor quality, if not outright defective replacement batteries. Where did you buy them?

Poor quality batteries are quite common in the aftermarket. iFixit sells good quality batteries.
