Compatable with Lexmark X1150?

I recently purchased a Macbook only to run into a printer problem. I have an older Lexmark All in One X1150, and after using the install disk, and going to the Lexmark website, I can only find drivers up to OS 10.3 Since the Macbook is running 10.6 is it safe to assume I have to buy a new printer? Thanks for any help.

PS One more thing, even after plugging the Lexmark into the Macbook, the printer is not recognized. Not good, I know. Thanks.

I would personally just try the older drivers and see if they work, if not then it's safe to assume you need a new printer. Try and sell your older printer or give it to goodwill if you decide to go that route.

Thanks, but it did not work with the older drivers. Upon further research, there are no drivers for this printer that will work with OS 10.6. So yes, I will be posting it on ebay and will have to purchase a new printer that will work with this Macbook. What a racket these company's have. You get a new laptop and have to get rid of a perfectly good printer!
