says game is scratched but continues loading in back

I insert my game and it loads to the beginning screen then says disc is dirty or damaged but game loads in background

How could you fix the lens. And why would the game continue loading if it's dirty ?

@dallyc, try cleaning the lens, i think the lens is still able to read, just that it need to work hard, to re read the disc and probably many crc errors, thus flagging the ps4 that the disc is dirty or damaged.

you can try updating ps4 firmware first and use a reputable cd cleaner kit to clean the lens.

if it still fails, most likely the lens is NG
