Can you give us your exact model as Apple has quite a few different MacBook Pro's. On the bottom cover you'll find your serial number as well as the model number, hopefully one is still readable. Plug that into here: EveryMac - Lookup. If you can't read it try to give us a clue using EveryMac to help you in figuring out which model. Once you know paste the systems URL here for us to see.

Once we know what you have we can guide you how to get what you need to recover your system.

Some OS come with a restore feature. Reboot your mac and immediate hold down the 'Option' key. If there is a partition for restoring it will show up after a few seconds.
