aluminum covered chip glued to DVD below keyboard
PowerBook G4 Aluminum 15 1.5-1.67 GHz
I have a pb g4 and in tearing it down for HD replacement, I found an aluminum foil covered chip that has a cable and attaches to the MB small white connector to J3420 (MB Connector that is 1" above the upper right corner of the dvd player). looks like 3 wires in the single small cable. This is on top of the DVD player & under the keyboard. Help EMC. 2076
Is this a good question?

Yes, it is the yellow item with the green cover, on top of the dvd drive. It plugs into the logic board right above it. I just wondered what it is. thanks and if you know what it is Id appreciate knowing. thanks
