Continuous restarting. Not booting, repeatedly gone through internet r

I've had my mac for about a year now (second hand). It was running very slow, now recently it starts up with the question mark + folder. I go through Internet recovery (sometimes I get an error -1007F, but if I leave the battery to drain and restart it works fine) then my laptop is fine again for a few hours before I have to go through the whole process again.

Any advice would be great. Thanks!

Remove the SSD/HDD and try booting into Mac OS via an external USB drive. If it is working fine over a period of time, fit a new SSD/HDD and see if it is fine. Sounds like the SSD/HDD is failing; usually this causes it to run slow, can prevent booting and in some cases intermittently boot.

Also, let us know the exact model :)
