Swap motherboard to a new phone

So I've got an old 64GB 5S but;

-the camera & flash doesn't work

-screen was replaced with a cheap one and not as bright as the original

-body is coming apart at the top section.

-ear piece heats up during calls.

I was wondering if its possible to just swap the motherboard to a sacrificial 5S (one with iCloud lock)

If the replacement board has iCloud lock then it's pretty much useless and a paperweight.

You may be better off getting another phone considering how much it is to get an 2nd hand iPhone 5s (That's hopefully not iCloud locked or IMEI blocked).

Where I live a used iPhone is still quite expensive. I can get an iCloud locked phone here for super cheap (around 50 bucks). Plus the iPhone that I have now is 64GB and it's almost impossible to find a decent used one with the same capacity. All of them are 16GB.
