canniffdoris21 this was converted from a comment to a question. So I do hope it is the right device. From what you are describing it sounds like you need a new LCD. Use this guide for the repair and the LCd is available at place like like this. To verify this it would help if you post some images of what your screen looks like and displays. Use this guide for that so we can see what you see.
