Craftsman garden tractor 26 HP 54" deck blade is rubbing deck evey 30 second for just a second not continues Started last mowing can't find were it rubbing at put white paint on inside of deck but no marks

When you get a shudder It usually indicates a bad bearing in the blade . Take the belts off the blades and spin the blades freely by hand and listen to the sound they make while turning . There should be no clicking ticking or grinding sound and if you can hear the bearing turning then its about to wear out . See if you can move the blade up and down at all. If you can the bearing is bad . While you have the belts off check them for cracks or missing chunks , a bad belt can also cause a balance problem. Hope this helps

Have you removed the belt and checked that none of the spindles that the blades are attached to are loose or wobbly? I forgot to put a spacer back on after I sharpened the blades once, and it caused an intermittent shudder because the blade would wobble on the shaft. A worn bearing, or bent spindle shaft could also be an issue to look into.

When I but it under a load the shudder goes from every 4 second to 2 blades are tight mandrel bolts are tight as well unless you think otherwise please let me know signed unsure lol
