every thing is working except the touch

I searched on the internet and it said A5 is a water proof phone....but instead of avoiding it i became a complete idiot by dropping it into a bowl of water for 2 seconds....now every thing is working except the touch..is there any other way i can cure this???for example putting it in rice??

Rice is good to eat but DOES NOTHING TO FIX THE PROBLEM of water damage.. Don't Put Your Device in Rice. Here's Why...

You need to follow the instructions in the Chosen Solution about how to properly clean the phone using IPA 90%+ This may also be of some help. Electronics Water Damage
