The touch of thing is it on the motherboard?
If I replace only a motherboard from someone's used iPhone
Will I be able to use my iPhone 6
Because I saw online that Touch ID thing is connected with the ic chip
Is this a good question?

Ok, so you can do it. You're correct the home button is married to the logic board. So you can transfer the logic board and home button. I mean...like..it just doesn't make sense why you would want to. The only thing I could think of..is...you want the good uncracked display on the other phone? You could way more easily transfer that to the one with the logic board you do want, with the home button
Was this answer helpful?
Uhh because my logic board has died and I want to replace it but a new one cost too much so I want to buy someone s used phone
Is that a good idea ?
If you buy a used phone, just use that phone. You then run no risk of damaging anything.
Yeah, basically what Cam said. It just doesn't make sense to transfer the board. If the boards toast, get a new phone. Or send/bring the phone to a shop that does board level repair
@theimedic maybe if you had a decent profile, they would be able to tell if you did these types of repairs professionally ;-) Just a thought. I could be wrong.
@mayer of course you're right, Uncle. Zieminsky said the same thing
