What does the "k" stand for when measuring steps and distance
I know what miles are but what does the k stand for?

It depends on the context. Is it next to a number followed by the word miles? Ex - 10k miles. If so, it's an abbreviation for thousand. So, 10k would equal 10,000.

So 10k would be 10,000 steps ??
Nothing other than the letter K so I can assume it’s steps completed ?
