No orange light when plugged into console
My Xbox One wont turn on and the orange light turns off when I plug the power bar in to the Console

Presently working on a psu for xbox. Orange light goes off as soon as box turned on. This supply has a 5v standby supply and a 12v run supply. As soon as the run supply was activated, the ps shuts down. Thats because i found shorted transistors in the primary side of the run supply. This needs a competent technician to repair this. Looks like a surface mount capacitor has had some arcing across its surface. Mosfet defintely shorted.

Can you give a bit more detail which transistors you are talking about that were shorted? Is this inside the PSU or the actual Xbox Motherboard?

It sounds like a power issue the board might be shorted out so use a multi meter and check all solder marks and traces. Make sure they all get the right amount of power.
