Can I add an HDD 2.5 or SSD?

Hello,

I am looking to buy an XPS 15 (9560), but I would need more memory than 512Gb.

Could I add an internal HDD?

Regards

Ricardo

you are asking two questions. or you may be confused on parts. first memory is not the same as a hard drive. so are there two questions or just one?

Ricardo, it looks as if you can add a 2.5" HDD or SSD. The factory SSDs are in a M.2 or mSATA slot, leaving the HDD bay open for upgrade. You may want to consider a Seagate firecudas SSHD for not much more than the price of a regular HDD.

Hope this helps!

This is only possible on the version with the smaller battery. The version with the 97Wh battery has no room for a 2.5" drive.

Yes you can if you have an FHD model. Consider that you'll need an adapter. You can easily find it online
