Your tablet has only 4 GB of RAM which is soldered to the logic board and not upgradable.
Your system also has either a 32 or 64 GB SSD soldered internally depending on which model you buy and is not upgradable. The storage is upgradable via the dedicated microSD slot (up to 256 GB) for additional storage.

Just noticed 2 things I've never noticed before . I consider you the master of Mac and haven't noticed you answer much of anything else so this is kind of out there seeing you answer a none Mac question but your "macness" is still showing in your answer 2nd and most notable is WOW 200K Congratulations . A most impressive feat. Does @kaykay know?

I gave my niece one of these and of course I needed to know how it ticked before plucking down the bucks ;-}
You may see me answer more Windows systems stuff if Apple doesn't straighten out in the Pro space.
My bosses are very close in moving us over. We are now migrating a few systems to Windows only to see how the Apps work and how much of a learning curve for our users. This coming fall is the 'Make it - Break it' point for us.

@andrebnw Sorry this post got out of hand, to answer you question properly. The memory(RAM) is soldered to the board as is the flash memory or SSD or eMMC depending on your tablet . If you are proficient with a heat station and soldering iron you can replace the original chip with an upgraded chip but you would then need to flash the chip to install a new OS. It can be done but with a micro SD slot built into the tablet it makes more sense to just pop a micro SD card into it.
