clering Google app searches

I have a Chrome app on my phone which I mostly use, and I can clear the search history on this app. I also have just a regular Google app, and I can not figure out how to clear history on this site

Open the Chrome app .

Tap More Settings.

Under "Advanced," tap Privacy Clear browsing data.

At the top, tap the dropdown under "Clear data from the."

Choose a time period, such as past hour or past day. ...

Select the types of information you want to remove.

Tap Clear data.
