Will the recent update break my back light?

My sister also has the s5 and after she got download the update her back light stopped working so now her screen brightness always has to be on full. I'm worried this will happen to me to so I haven't got it yet. It's been a couple months so I was wondering if it's fine now ?

Im sure its fine at this point, it may have been just a bad timing for your sister. If it messes up our device there is a way to bring it back to a previous version.
