Any idea why the home button would be overly sensitive. When I lay my finger on the button it acts like I'm pressing it when I'm not using any pressure whatsoever. Have you ever heard of this? I've personally never come across it.

This is a new feature in iOS 10, I think
Settings --> General --> Accessibility --> Home Button --> Rest Finger to Open

Thanks for the tip! No more pressing the home button two times and no more needing to press the home button after pressing the power button.

I'll have to check this setting. I'll post to see if it fixed my issue.

Has the screen ever been replaced before?

I replaced the digitizer. I'll ask the customer in the morning if she had the issue before.

I had a similar problem and I went on this site that told me how to fix it I basically just press the home button really hard, harder than I normally would and that God network I want to rest again even harder and so on and so on until I somehow ended up putting something back into its place and now it works like a charm

I had the same problem after he screams there and my home button was all wacky I basically texted by pressing the home button with my thumb extra hard once, Harder than I normally would and tried it I will then press that again harder than I normally would even more and so on and so forth until after like pressing really really really hard without breaking it of course, but somehow I just did itself somehow inside now it works
