Unlock iPhone with broken screen

Im trying to get pictures off my old iphone 5, the only problem being there is no screen on it as i broke it and threw it away. the phone turns on and is recognized by the computer but the problem im having is that in order to access the pictures and other things on the phone i need to enter the passcode which i cant do because there is not screen on the phone. Is there any way i am able to enter the passcode via the computer to unlock the iphone ?

Options

You will need a functioning screen. It can be cracked (if you have access to one), as long as you can see the image displayed and it will accept your touch inputs. Currently, iPhone 5 screens are pretty inexpensive, well worth it if you value your data.

You can only get your data back if your computer can still recognize the iphone. If it does not there is no way you get any data from it.

Hopefully broken iOS data extraction may be useful.
