Earpiece speaker not working after screen replacement

I replaced my screen, and now my earpiece won't work!!! I took it apart made sure all the flex cables are good and my connectors are clean... still nothing.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Likewise here. We've had a 50/50 with replacing the flex and/or earspeaker. Hope someone can find a solution sooner than later. I'm going to purchase an iPhone 7 Plus assembly to see if this helps. I'll let you know if it's worth the extra the extra money.

It happens to most people so make it simple and replace it.

Then check the logic board and clean all of the contacts on the board

Hey everyone, i fixed this issue on a repair I just did

Essentially, I took it apart (following the proper steps) and then cleaned the connections with an alcohol swab and put it back together very carefully making sure not to touch any of the connections

Now it works

Like do I put the alcohol swab directly onto the connectors & let dry?

the little copper connectors between the earpiece and the flex cable, I had fingerprints on mine. I wiped it clean with the alcohol swab and then let it dry
