sainsworth69s check to see if auto rotate is turned on.
To change Display settings, swipe down from the top of the screen. Swipe to then tap the Rotation icon to lock/unlock the screen orientation.
To access additional display settings, tap the Settings icon.
You should now have auto rotate showing in settings. Make sure it is turned on.
If it is you can always check to see if there is an OS update. If one of that works, you may have an issues with the gyro IC on your board.
