I am having trouble with the "p" position on the touch screen. I have previously changed the battery about 2 months ago with no issues. I just reseated the digitizer connector but that didn't resolve the issue.
After some more investigation it looks like a band on the right side of the screen. Is that possibly a cable or connector issue or a digitizer issue?

brianwen since it is always the same area, the degree of suspicion that this is caused by a bad digitizer is high. I would replace the complete display assembly and then re-evaluate if necessary.
