Difference between Mid 2012 fan and newer fans?

Hi! I've been having issues for a while now with the right fan on my mid 2012 Retina 15" MacBook Pro. It makes a constant rattle and I've finally decided to fix it. The problem is the fan for this specific model is out of stock/very expensive in most places because it's slightly outdated. I see that the fan for the newer model is more widely available so I'm wondering if I can use this fan instead? From what pictures I've seen, the mounting holes appear to be identical and the power connector is similar as well. Is there some incompatibility that I'm unaware of (ie voltage, airflow etc)?

Thanks!

Should be compatible. From working on these before, there is no noticeable difference between the 2012-2015 fans. They use the same connector and have the same screw hole locations.
