Water poured in multi-cooker without pot in it. What yo do?

As I was preparing some veggies to steam in my KitchenAid multi-cooker, I made the mistake of pouring the water directly in the multi-cooker, without the insert/pot in it. Needless to say, I feel quite dumb for having done that. Anyhow, most of the water went trough and ended up on the floor, but it appears that some went inside the appliance. It turns on, but I see some water behind the control panel, and no digits or words appear anymore. I am not sure what to do except to patiently wait that it completely dries up? Any idea? Thanks!

Good excuse to order in pizza for a couple of days. Turn it over every 6 hours or so.
