Broke the antenna connection when replacing screen

Hi,

I removed the antenna wire a little too hard when I was going about replacing the screen and now it won't connect to the bottom board, I assume I just need to solder it onto the bottom and everything will work fine.

But I thought I'd ask just incase, has anyone else had this issue and fixed it by soldering?

Hi was it just the wire that was broken? If so you can buy replacement antenna cables pretty cheap, if it was the actual connection on the motherboard you my need to send it in for repair unless you have experience with this type of repair

Thanks for replying!

The wire isn't actually broken, I think the connection to the bottom board isn't solid.

I get a connection but it drops randomly and it's slower than dail up sometimes, I think because the wire isn't connected to the board properly its not working correctly.

I hope I don't have to take it to a shop, I may try soldering it, do you think it's a good idea?
