Whirlpool washer code issues

I have a Whirlpool Duet front loading washer that goes through first portion of wash cycle. After draining to fill for rinse cycle my washer stops, the code F3 E2 comes up in display. What does this specific code indicate. I am not able to use washer afterwards. If I unplug for 48 hrs, I can run the washer without clothes 1 time, if I put small amount in, the code shows up again. I reset display and still come up with the code again

This is usually a broken wire or loose wire to the temperature sensor. Use a multimeter and test for continuity.

Vernon Hechtel as my esteemed colleague @mayer pointed out already, this is an error code that is generated by the temperature sensor. This is just to clarify a bit further in depth what to do. To test the temp sensor you'll have to remove the washers back service panel. The temperature sensor is at the bottom back of the tub. Check the wiring and test the sensor using a multimeter. Attached image shows the resistance of the sensor at various temperatures. If the resistance is way off, then it is most likely that the sensor has failed and needs to be replaced. If the sensor is okay, then you could have a problem with the wiring harness or the control board.

I attached the tech sheet so you can go through the individual test of the diagnostics in case you should run into further trouble. Whirlpool Duet Tech Sheet
