Replaced front screen .

My cousin gave me her old iPhone 5s but the screen was broken and dangling by the connector cables BUT half of the screen was still visible and the full screen reacted when you touch it now I have bought a new screen replaced it transferred my camera ,homebutton, shield, etc. I watched a video and followed every step twice but my phone still will not power on I tried to charge it.. no vibration please help!!!

Update (01/26/2017)

Thank you guys for the answers but I tried again to charge it and it showed the dead screen so maybe the remaining charge just needed to drain before I could turn it on :) KEEP COMMENTING for others who may have this same problem

The 5S requires that you place all of the screws in the right place. They all have different lengths, sometimes only differing by 0.1mm. But if you put a long one in the wrong place, you can kill the logic board. Check out the guide to see if you possibly made this mistake.

The other common issue is when the battery is not disconnected prior to removing the screen. This usually affects the backlight circuit but it can cause other problems.

Go back through this guide and double check everything.
