ip7 Display Assembly Adhesive can use for water resist after repair?

I have a broken camara lens . So I want to open iPhone front screen to repair camera lens by inside so it was damage a water seal adhesive?

Options

You could try command water resistant adhesive strips. These should, in theory, help against small spills but unfortunately probably won't compare to your original Apple water resistant seal. The problem I see with trying to replace it is you'll still have small gaps in spots where water could leak through.
