To join the graybeards, you need to have the ability to look like this ;-)

Check the Overload Or Relay-Start Capacitor. The overload relay is a protection device used in the compressor circuit on your refrigerator. Power is applied to the compressor motor windings through the overload device, and the relay is used to add the start winding in the circuit until the compressor is at running speed.

@oldturkey03 should set it up so that it can be joined by approved request, else wise it will become like Master Techs (full of non-masters). Don't even know if I qualify as mines white ;-)

@scottscheeff , Scott, use the trouble shooting fridge compressor not running links below to help diagnose and repair your fridge. You can also do a google search using your make and model for more info. as there is a lot out there on the net. If not comfortable working on your fridge have a good repair tech. have a look, diagnose and estimate repair. Good luck.
