Mac Shuts down unexpectedly

Problem

My MacBook Pro works fine with a fresh installation of OSX.

When I install adobe products, it shuts down unexpectedly, even if the app is not open.

It crashes also with qbittorrent, and "console" from Mac utilities.

Cause

I've had to replace my Magsafe because it died (short circuits), maybe that there is a link.

Tried

I have tried to fully reset the system, the SMC, PRAM,...

Genius Bar

I brought my Mac to the Genius Bar, they did not find any problem. They said they did not encounter the problem (are they magician?) because the problem appeared 5 sec after they gave me back the macbook

Thank you for your help!

Answer this question I have this problem too

One option to look at is which video card you're using. For example, on mine, the integrated (Intel) video has gone out, and the computer is prone to system halts. If I have it on an external monitor, works fine. I currently have a utility, gfxCardStatus, to force it to use the higher performance card.

Changing the battery did not solve the problem.

In that kind of cases, the Logic board seems faulty.

It is strange but the mac runs fine on windows...
