Logic board replaced, won't power on.
Liquid damage. Upon disassembly, found logic board burned where hard drive cable connects. Replaced logic board, replaced hard drive cable, reassembled. Connected to power, and it won't turn on. I see the battery indicator, but nothing happens when the power button is pressed.
I found another thread that discussed the possibility of the charger inlet daughter card being faulty, and that you could jumper two solder points to test, but it was a different model macbook (an older one I believe), is that possible with this one? What could the problem be?
I'm new at this, but I was disgustingly meticulous with disassembly and reassembly.
Is this a good question?
