@mayer , Mayer, not excellent links but they may help in the removal and cleaning of your Caddy MAF sensor and the throttle body just in case it looks grungy. ((( Use only sensor safe cleaners on the MAF)))and you will see some very fine wires inside the MAF, do not touch them only spray with the cleaner, the wires are fragile. Will post more info. if I find something better. Good luck.

@lpfaff1 I looked over these links, got the MAF off and cleaned it but found that the metal throttle body intake that was uncovered when I removed it was all gummed up. Got some spray carburetor cleaner, and cleaned the gunk out (I also did the MAF with MAF cleaner) and all is much better now. Thanks so much for the help ;-) I know this car is getting old but the lines on it are so much better looking than newer models and I drive it so little (three tanks of gas a year).

@mayer , Happy you were able to make your repair, should see a slight increase in gas mileage and performance now. Keep the maintenance up and you will enjoy the caddy for years to come. Thanks for replying back, have a good day.
