Constant rebooting how can it stop the rebooting

I replaced the charging port on my sons iPhone 5s and it still had charging issues so we backed it up and did I a full wipe/reset. After the reset it restarts during the setup and we can't get through it all. I thought it might be a software issue so I hooked it up to my computer and did a restore through iTunes. It said it completed but as soon as you go through setup you can get the restore from backup and it restarts. I assumed it was a bad charging port or battery so I ordered a new charging port and battery from here. After replacing both it still will not go through the setup without restarting. I tried skipping the restore from backup and got into the iOS home screen then it restarted again it will not stay on longer than 5-10 minutes before it restarts.

Anybody have any ideas on what I can do to get it back up and running.

Full wipe and reset is done through the phone settings. Sounds like software has become corrupt. The only way to fix this is try and update first via iTunes and if that does not work do a restore.

I have already tried both of those and neither worked

It does show the green charging battery icon on top right to indicate it is charging right? Does it stay on if it's plugged in charging?

by

it shows the charging symbol when it is on but then restarts. Doesn't matter if it is plugged in or not .

Sorry to say but it might sound like a bad power ic.

It does shut off / restart even after turning it on and just unlocking it right?

by

It will usually run for 5 -10 minutes then reboot. I just found it weird that it happened after doing a restore from the phone. It was working fine until that point.

No I don't get any errors it just restarts. I will try pulling the front camera and see if that works.

I did a hard reset and it stayed on long enough to complete a restore from the backup but then it rebooted again. Just before the reboot the LCD showed Rainbow colored lines then went black.

Just restore it only the lightning port n battry connected in logicboard then if there nothing happen reheat the hhd for 50sec. Minimal heat
