Audio is cracking and not loud as it used to be.

Hi,

I have Dell XPS 15-L502X, recently the speakers have started to crack when playing audio. mostly the bottom sub woofer creates the cracking sound but the top ones are also not performing as they used to. this cracking increases when increase in volume and all you can hear is screeching sound.

Any fix for it ..??

Another problem I have is, getting "Plugged in Not Charging message". the battery is not charging and laptop can only be used when AC is plugged in.

This could mean the speakers are blown. I would look for a replacement. and then try that.
