New Battery Draining very quickly

Hello All

Wondering if you could assist with a strange fault.

I have a iphone 5s which I have now replaced TWO original iphone 5s batteries ( I repair phones for a living and have never had this issue)

The problem with both batteries is the following, I charge to 100% and then put it into airplane mode . I leave overnight and within 12 hours the charge has dropped to 50%.

The phone has been factory reseted and has been set up as a blank phone (no apple ID etc).

I do notice the charging symbol stays on once the battery hits 100%

Any advise would be appreciated

This is very strange indeed. I would recommend disconnecting the battery from the motheboard, and holding the sleep wake button for a minute or two. This will discharge the board. I would recommend disconnecting the iPhone's LCD , camera, and earpiece connections as well after disconnecting the battery, but before you discharge the board. Connect the battery after you have reconnected the LCD, camera, and earpiece. Try charging up to 100% and disconnect. Leave the phone in standby and check on it after 12 hours.
